ABOUT RAMP Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own and evolve Ramp’s Post Sales systems. You’ll build the products that fuel our onboarding and activation funnel, turn complex commercial agreements into accurate, supportable customer outcomes from original deal closure through expansions, and book of business management This role sits in Growth Engineering’s Business Systems Engineering team and partners closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Data, Product, and GTM teams. You’ll combine hands-on Salesforce engineering with systems design and strong commercial judgment to make high-stakes revenue workflows reliable, scalable, and easier for teams to use. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform - Design and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce, our internal revenue app, Data, and adjacent business systems. Own data contracts, idempotency, error handling, reconciliation, and safe lifecycle changes for quotes, contracts, and subscriptions. - Design, develop, and maintain solutions on iPaaS (Homegrown, Workato, Clay, etc) - Drive decisions on architecture patterns, tool usage, and designs required for the solution to scale both in terms of speed and scale. - Write and communicate technical specifications, including architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams. - Own the data integrity and data assumptions in your focused area and contribute continually. - Work closely with the rest of the
