At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. AS A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER OF CAPACITY PLANNING, YOU WILL: - Own the capacity planning program end-to-end — from demand forecasting and resource modeling to procurement coordination and delivery tracking across Snowflake's multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Infrastructure, Finance, and Cloud Provider teams to ensure capacity meets projected growth, seasonal demand spikes, and new product launches - Build and improve forecasting models and frameworks that translate business growth signals, customer onboarding patterns, and workload trends into actionable infrastructure capacity plans - Establish governance and review cadences — own weekly/monthly capacity reviews with engineering leadership, surface risks and tradeoffs, and drive decisions on resource allocation and prioritization - Identify and mitigate capacity risks proactively — monitor utilization trends, flag bottlenecks, single points of failure, and lead constraint resolution before they become customer-impacting - Partner closely with engineering teams to understand workload characteristics, architecture changes, and new feature launches that affect capacity requirements - Drive efficiency and optimization programs — identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve utilization, and right-size infrastructure spend without compromising performance or availability - Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting that give leadership real-time visibility into capacity health, spend trajectory, and delivery timelines - Influence infrastructure strategy by providing data-driven recommendations on cloud provider mix, reserved vs. on-demand strategy, and long-term capacity investments WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Required:
